Leaves Bird

2011.12(NiMu: 5Y2M)
This is NiMu's school work. This semester, the first theme at school is about "Bird", so they must make a project about "Bird".
In order to conservation of resources, so all of the materials are used and recycle. Here are some pictures about the project. It took us about 10 days to finish it.

First, we went to park, and picked some leaves and wood.
We loves to do that in park, and NiMu find some pretty leaves, so he was very happy.
NiMu cleaned these leaves, and make them dry.
Here are our materials. Leaves, wood, stone and plastic bottle.
Mommy helped kids comebine these materials as a frame.
Here are another leaves. See the pretty colours!
Then, NiMu worked hard few days to past the leaves to the frame. She can do vert well, so all the leaves are pasted by herself.
After pasted the wood as bird's leg, and let it standed on the stone... Oh! Yes!! Finished it!!
NiMu loves her bird very much!

Car, You are No.1

2011.11.20 (NiMu:5Y1M)
This afternoon, NiMu set up a new paint challenge for family member, and she said, "The winner would get a great hanger from me!"
How a funny idea!
So LerLer enjoy to the activity, and of course, he won the prize!
Here is the hanger+card which made by NiMu.
"Car" is LerLer's nickname, and LerLer loves cars very much, so NiMu chose this car image from Stichy Bear Stamps.

Look! NiMu can cut the image by herself! Wow!
And she also pasted the gems, and design the bling flowers.
Mommy helped to cut the star shape, and NiMu pasted the designed paper by herself.
Afetr finishing, NiMu also wrote some words to LerLer, she wrote down, "Car, You are No.1."(in Chinese.)
Look! LerLer is so happy!! :)

Mosaic Work: Colorful Castle

Lovely Mosaic work: Colorful Castle!
This semester, NiMu's teacher taugh them something about "grid" or "plaid". Of course, they must make something for this theme.
Really mosaic brick are too heavy, so we used 3D sticker instead of the really ones.
1. Mom helped NiMu to cut so many mosaic stickers.
2. NiMu draw a castle picture by herself.
3. Then she worked seriously, and very enjoy on this weok!
4. Unfinished! But it's really to late, so that NiMu and LerLer must went to bed.
5. After 2 days, NiMu finished the cute mosaic work: colorful castle! The color stickers which around the castle are snowflakes.
I do love the cute smile from NiMu. ^^

My 2 Desk Tidy

What a cute Desk Tidy! See NiMu how to make it. :)

＊Bling Flower Desk Tidy
1. cut the paper. NiMu can uses scissors very well.
2. finished the paper on the desk tidy
3. used leaf punch. NiMu said, she wants to have so many leaves to decorate the desk tidy. And she did it very well!
4. make her own flowers. Wow! I do love the bling flower, so pretty!!
5. see those flowers? they have different colors, and NiMu did a great job!
6.Ya!! Finish!!
7. Look close the flowers, aren't they pretty?
I do love them!!

After finished the first one, NiMu found a bear image, which she draw before. So she asked if she can make another one.
Mom found another plastics cup, then NiMu started to alter it.
Here is 2nd Desk Tidy--Bling Bear Desk Tidy
1. NiMu also cut a paper, and pasted to the Tidy. Then she punched so many leaves, too.
She make another style handmade flower--use leaf punches to make a flower.
She loves gems,so she decorated so many gems on the petals.

Sweet Candy House

Wow! It's really a long time to say hello with you.
NiMu was diagnosed "amblyopia"(a lazy eye) in April. So we went to ophthalmology clinic twine a week, training her lazy eye.
And NiMu loves to write numbers, words, Chinese notional phonetic alphabets recently. So she didn't have more time to make cards with me this 2 months.
And Here is the new project-Sweet Candy House (one of NiMu's school homework). The homework should finished by kids and parents together.

2011.06.10 (NiMu:4Y8M)--(work with mommy)
NiMu told me, she wants to make a house with spatula.(NiMu and LerLer loves to play "Doctor & Patient"'s game).
We bought color spatulas and neutral ones. She also wants a pretty fence around the house. The house must has a roof, and can put bottle in it.
Wow! That's really a great work for us!! We spent more time to make it.
Here are the processes.
1. Paste the spatulas together.(This is a great work. Mom worked with NiMu.) 2. Cute some papers and wrote words, draw pictures on it.
3. She wrote: "Teacher, I love you." and draw some flowers butterflies.
4. What a pretty fence! NiMu loves rainbow colours very much!
It's a little hard. NiMu helped to press them, and mom helped to paste them.
5. After put the house and fence together, NiMu pasted some little color stones to decorate the floor. Mom put the chocolate wrapping paper to bow shape. Then NiMu pasted them on the side of the house.
6. Last, NiMu pasted her name's letter on the roof.
So cute!! We do love the Sweet Candy House. Here is a bottle in the house, and the roof can move out. The door can open, too.
We spent over one week to finish it.:)
This is our Sweet Candy House. All of NiMu's classmates love it, too. ^^

What a cute paper piecing project!
NiMu used paper piecies to make a color train. And she also make some kids on the train.
NiMu said, "They take pictures on te train."
Here are so many cute kids she make.
NiMu and LerLer played the paper piecies together, what a funny activity.
When finished, NiMu was so happy. And she said, "This card will for Dad. He will be love it."

It's your birthday!

2011.01.23 (NiMu:4Y3M)
What a cute image! This image is from Grandma's Pearl, it's a cute freebie.
NiMu chose all the colors, so cute!
Here are 2 new things she learned.
One is make the paper flowers.
We used punch, then put some color on the petals. NiMu learned very seriously.
The other is color the doily.
NiMu chose pretty yellow to color the doily.
Then she decorated the pearls and flowers. Mommy helped her to cut the frame and put the eyelets.
What a cute hanger!
NiMu said, this birthday hanger will for LerLer's 3 years old's birthday. Although here are 8 months to LerLer's Birthday.
But who cares? What a sweet sister NiMu is.:)
