Mosaic Work: Colorful Castle

Lovely Mosaic work: Colorful Castle!
This semester, NiMu's teacher taugh them something about "grid" or "plaid". Of course, they must make something for this theme.
Really mosaic brick are too heavy, so we used 3D sticker instead of the really ones.
1. Mom helped NiMu to cut so many mosaic stickers.
2. NiMu draw a castle picture by herself.
3. Then she worked seriously, and very enjoy on this weok!
4. Unfinished! But it's really to late, so that NiMu and LerLer must went to bed.
5. After 2 days, NiMu finished the cute mosaic work: colorful castle! The color stickers which around the castle are snowflakes.
I do love the cute smile from NiMu. ^^

My 2 Desk Tidy

What a cute Desk Tidy! See NiMu how to make it. :)

＊Bling Flower Desk Tidy
1. cut the paper. NiMu can uses scissors very well.
2. finished the paper on the desk tidy
3. used leaf punch. NiMu said, she wants to have so many leaves to decorate the desk tidy. And she did it very well!
4. make her own flowers. Wow! I do love the bling flower, so pretty!!
5. see those flowers? they have different colors, and NiMu did a great job!
6.Ya!! Finish!!
7. Look close the flowers, aren't they pretty?
I do love them!!

After finished the first one, NiMu found a bear image, which she draw before. So she asked if she can make another one.
Mom found another plastics cup, then NiMu started to alter it.
Here is 2nd Desk Tidy--Bling Bear Desk Tidy
1. NiMu also cut a paper, and pasted to the Tidy. Then she punched so many leaves, too.
She make another style handmade flower--use leaf punches to make a flower.
She loves gems,so she decorated so many gems on the petals.

Sweet Candy House

Wow! It's really a long time to say hello with you.
NiMu was diagnosed "amblyopia"(a lazy eye) in April. So we went to ophthalmology clinic twine a week, training her lazy eye.
And NiMu loves to write numbers, words, Chinese notional phonetic alphabets recently. So she didn't have more time to make cards with me this 2 months.
And Here is the new project-Sweet Candy House (one of NiMu's school homework). The homework should finished by kids and parents together.

2011.06.10 (NiMu:4Y8M)--(work with mommy)
NiMu told me, she wants to make a house with spatula.(NiMu and LerLer loves to play "Doctor & Patient"'s game).
We bought color spatulas and neutral ones. She also wants a pretty fence around the house. The house must has a roof, and can put bottle in it.
Wow! That's really a great work for us!! We spent more time to make it.
Here are the processes.
1. Paste the spatulas together.(This is a great work. Mom worked with NiMu.) 2. Cute some papers and wrote words, draw pictures on it.
3. She wrote: "Teacher, I love you." and draw some flowers butterflies.
4. What a pretty fence! NiMu loves rainbow colours very much!
It's a little hard. NiMu helped to press them, and mom helped to paste them.
5. After put the house and fence together, NiMu pasted some little color stones to decorate the floor. Mom put the chocolate wrapping paper to bow shape. Then NiMu pasted them on the side of the house.
6. Last, NiMu pasted her name's letter on the roof.
So cute!! We do love the Sweet Candy House. Here is a bottle in the house, and the roof can move out. The door can open, too.
We spent over one week to finish it.:)
This is our Sweet Candy House. All of NiMu's classmates love it, too. ^^

Nimu didn't make cards about one months. But she draw so many pictures recently.
These pictures are for Jesus.
It's a church. NiMu used some paper to decorate it. And draw a cross.
The sun is so pretty!
This is a car of church.
NiMu said, "These two pictures would paste together. Because the car will go to church."
NiMu said, these are for Jesus. She loves Jesus.:)
NiMu also wrote her English name-APPLE, and the date.

NiMu is a lucky winner of "Children's Challenge Corner", so she can choose one theme she wants to do.
NiMu chose: "FOOD". All the food are okay!

NiMu used so many pretty colours and use the glue-pen to make it bling.
She also made the background by herself. (Sorry! Here were something wrong with my digital camera, so no picture here.)
After embossing, NiMu pasted the papers seriously.

What a cute paper piecing project!
NiMu used paper piecies to make a color train. And she also make some kids on the train.
NiMu said, "They take pictures on te train."
Here are so many cute kids she make.
NiMu and LerLer played the paper piecies together, what a funny activity.
When finished, NiMu was so happy. And she said, "This card will for Dad. He will be love it."

Mommy, Daddy, I love you

NiMu had no time to play cards recently, but she draw 2 lovely pictures for Mommy and Daddy.
The Chinese phonetic symbols she wrote means "Mommy,I love you." and "Daddy, I love you."
Mommy is playing kate and singing songs. Here is also a pretty sunflower on the side.
Daddy is playing spigot and watering flowers. Here is a lovely chrysanthemum.
What a sweet present from NiMu. :)

This funny bird image and sentiment are from Bugaboo, NiMu said,"What a cute chicken!" Haha.
NiMu said, she wants to use the image to make a card for grandmom, because of mommy's nickname is "chicken-baby". "Grandmom is your mom, I think she will loves the chicken birthday card!"NiMu said to me.
Here is the picture that NiMu and LerLer draw the images together. They are so seriously.
Also, NiMu chose pretty colours and she did a great job with colouring.

LOVE

2011.02.13 (NiMu:4Y4M)
This cute bear image from SEW MANY Shop. NiMu loves bears, too.
She chose very pretty color to draw the bears, and add some hand-draw hearts. She said, "Here are some hearts, I love them. I also gave them a heart-shape cookie between them, they can eat the cookie together."
We punched flowers, but the color is to near the background, so that they are unobvious. We tried another way to make them obvious.
NiMu learned to cut the flower edge. It's really difficult for her. She tried 3 times but unsuccessful. So mommy helped her to cut it.
Then NiMu used glue-pen to make the flowers more pretty.
This card will be for LerLer. What a lucky brother he is!

This cute image is from Grandma's Pearl, it's a cute freebie.
NiMu draw 3 images at one time. She used bright colours. She is a buzy bee. ^^
She also learned to paste the background paper. The paper is recycled from wrapping paper.
NiMu and LerLer play the machine together. It's a funny activity for them.
Then NiMu pasted gems around the image. What a pretty frame it is.

This card will give LerLer, for his birthday(on September).
